Mythical kingdom 3D project

 Hello dears!

My most recent project especially created for Mixed media Academy October Challenge of mythical creatures took a week and challenged me to try something unique !

My entry to October challenge is called

"Mythical kingdom" 3D project which has four mixed media layouts!

Yes you heard it right!

The four mythical creatures chosen for these four layouts are Unicorn ,Medusa , Luna and Siren.

My first mythical creature is the magical

unicorn which is a horse with a horn on it's head and is believed to have supernatural powers in its blood.

My second mythical creature is goddess Medusa  from Greek Mythology who is believed to have magical powers to transform people into stone when she  looks at them  directly. She has vipers as her hair locks and is very lethal.

My third mythical creature is called Luna goddess of the moon in Greek Mythology. Her Greek name is Selene. She is worshipped as a goddess and has magical powers of love. I have symbolised her in my mixed media layout as the face behind the crescent moon.

My fourth mythical creature is called Siren in Greek mythology who is half body of a lady and half of bird who lured sailors to destruction by the sweetness of her song. In other words she is evil and dangerous in seas and oceans.

And the fifth surprise element is  another mythical creature who is very popular and full of magic and spells.....Fairies!
We have read about them in our childhood bedtime stories.I have recreated the fairies mythical house using glass jars and lots of different mixed media elements. The fairies live in a magical world of  beautiful landscapes and stunning colours.
